AF Greatest Hits 〰️

I have recently made the switch to give up alcohol and over the past 8 months I have spent more money on non-alc drinks than I ever did on booze. I became obsessed with finding things that taste great and aren’t full of crap. I have personally tried every single one of these and have the receipts and credit card charges to prove said newest obsession, even the beer and as a gluten free person that’s how committed I am to making sure I only share the good ones or ones to avoid. Some are better than others but I have started putting my greatest hits on here just like my favorite playlist to go back to and continue building. Here are my favorites that taste great and aren’t overbearing with sugar. Some of these are not cheap, but neither are you.

Bubbles:

Leitz-Eins Zwei Zero Sparkling AF Riesling (hands down winner)

This was harder to find online but I found it at my local Macadoodles liquor store in the can

Surely Brut

Freixenet

I only found the Rose not the Prosecco online, also found at Macadoodles

Rose:

Surely Rose

Wine:

Kin Bloom technically an adaptogen but tastes like wine

Tost (can be too sweet for some so keep that in mind, but I LOVE it)

And one to avoid:

Fre Red Wine (taste like grape juice on the front and red wine on the back, it’s too confusing for me to taste good)

Cocktails:

Monday Gin + Filthy mixer (dirty but not boozy martini)

Bonus Recipe:

  • 1-2 oz Monday Gin

  • 1 can Grapefruit Spindrift

  • 1/2 lime

  • stir and garnish with Tajin rim and Lime wedge

Free AF Paloma

One to avoid:

FauxMosa (looks cute in the can but has 30g of sugar for it’s 8 oz)

Beer/Cider:

Heineken Zero

Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher variety pack (this was so good one of our friends swore there was booze in it like a White Claw)

Adaptogens:

Moment

Recess

Kin Sunrise (I mix this with the Surely Brut for a Faux Mosa)

And one to avoid:

Kowa Mood Boost (fake sweet flavor that is reminiscent of cough syrup)
